The package contains the control unit and printed step-by-step instructions for the conversion. You will also find a detailed material list describing what items you need to buy, where, and in what quantities.

We calculate material costs very generously at around €400 per roughage side. The cost of wood can vary depending on the length and design of the roughage side.

Yes. A Hero control unit can control a total of up to 4 hay feeder sides. These do not have to be mounted on a single hay feeder but can theoretically be distributed among several hay feeders – for example, two hay feeders with two sides each.

Yes, the building instructions are also available separately in our shop. They cost €79 and include detailed building instructions as well as a material list. In this case, you can implement and design the electronics and controls yourself. You can find the instructions in our shop.

No, the system is not compatible with round hay feeders because a flat surface is required for the slides.

Control is easy via your smartphone. The control unit either provides its own Wi-Fi hotspot or can be integrated into an existing network. You can conveniently set up and control the hay rack from your phone using a user-friendly interface.

The length of a trough side should not exceed 3.50 m. For longer troughs, it is advisable to divide them to ensure reliable operation.
